How does our Community Card work?
Our Community Card is a loyalty membership scheme for anyone who would like to benefit from the member
offers and help raise funds for community projects in the area. The card costs an introductory price of
£10 a year (Normally £15) and it entitles you to discounts and offers at shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and days
out across Sussex and Kent.
How long does membership last?
Your card is valid for 12 calendar months. You will need to purchase a new one once your card has expired.
Do you have an app?
Yes we have an app you can download. This will go love on 1st September 2020 and you
will be able to store your membership details on it.
Are there restrictions?
Yes, some offers are only available to people over 18 years. Please see the individual Businesses
Terms & Conditions which can be found on their listing in the directory.
When will I receive my personalised card once I've signed up?
You will receive your card just before 1st September 2020 (Launch Day). In the meantime, you'll
receive a welcome email which is your temporary card. Just show this to participating
businesses to start enjoying member benefits right away.
Can I buy a community card in person?
Yes you will be able to, but at the moment due to COVID restrictions you can only
purchase online. This will change soon we hope!
I have lost my card, what can I do?
If you have lost your card, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is a charge of £5 to cover the cost of a replacement and postage.
How do you process my card payments?
Our website uses a Paypal portal to process card payments. It's a secure service from
Paypal and is PCI (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant. You can
pay via your Paypal or Card using Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to pay.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, card purchases are refundable within 14 days, on the condition that your community card has not be
used at any participating businesses. The card will need to be returned before we can issue a refund.

Can I transfer my membership to another person?
Unfortunately not! The member's name is shown on card, and members also need to sign the
back signature strip. You may be asked for additional ID at participating businesses.
Help, I have a problem. Who do I contact?
If you experience any problems with your community card or our participating businesses, please contact us as soon as you can at email@example.com. (we aim to get back to you within 24hrs)
I no longer wish to receive newsletters. What do I do?
To unsubscribe from our monthly newsletters, please click on the 'unsubscribe' option on one of the newsletter emails.
