Crowborough Families has teamed up with Millbrook Garden Centre, Crowborough to host a ‘Giant Sunflower Competition’ for the local community.
Every half hour (from 11am-2pm) we will host a casual drop-in style ‘potting’ session (book via this link). Everyone is welcome to sew a sunflower seed in the pots provided and decorate. The person to grow the tallest sunflower by the 30th September will be crowned the winner and receive a prize which has kindly been donated by Millbrook Garden Centre. To enable us prepare for everyone, we’ve created a ticket system. If you would like to attend, then please register for a timed session via this link and you are welcome to pop in between that time.
This event is Autism Friendly and open to everyone (adults and children). Each session is very relaxed and families can take their time. If you prefer a quieter session then the last two sessions in the day will have less people attending.
Millbrook Garden Centre is fully accessible to all, but if you have any questions please contact the centre or email Clair at email@example.com.
Please note that it is one plant per person and full care/growing instructions will be available on Crowborough Families website www.crowboroughfamilies.co.ukafter our potting event.
